Welcome Jonas Holmstedt!

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Jonas Holmstedt as our new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2025, succeeding Dennis Williams, who has served the company with distinction. Holmstedt’s journey with Allard began in 2012 when he served as an advising attorney for global distributor relations. In 2017, he officially joined the Allard companies as a Board Member of Camp Scandinavia, and from 2021 as a Board Member of Allard Support for Better Life. “I have had the privilege of working closely with Jonas on numerous projects over the past 12 years,” said Peter Allard, sole owner and President of privately held Allard Support for Better Life. “He deeply understands our mission of ‘Support for Better Life’ and consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership and a true passion for the industry we serve.” Born and raised in Sweden, Holmstedt has always maintained a global perspective, both as an attorney with focus on international business law, and from spending winters at his Florida home and embracing the “American way” with his insatiable curiosity and love of learning. Now based in Allard’s McKinney, Texas office, he resides in the Dallas area with his wife, Marie, and three of their eight children.

Allard Support for Better Life will continue to benefit from Dennis Williams’ expertise, as he transitions to the role of Senior Advisor. In this capacity, Williams will focus on acquisition opportunities and the continued growth of Allard SmartFAB services in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Peter Allard reflects, “The first time I had the privilege of meeting Dennis was in 1988 when I joined my father in Key West while attending a sales meeting. Dennis was also present at that event, just beginning his O and P journey. Our first business encounter occurred after he joined Fillauer, when I presented a prosthetic foot concept to them, though it was not pursued at that time. In 2017 Dennis became CEO of Allard USA and right before transitioning to his new role, he became involved in the introduction of Meracus®, our pure composite prosthetic foot. It’s truly a full-circle moment.”
