SELECTION® Thumb Orthosis Rigid
Soft and elastic thumb orthosis with extra stability around the thumb structures. The design supports the muscles, keeping the thumb in neutral position and unloads CMC and MPC, but allows an active "pinch" grip. At rest the thumb is kept in neutral position without straining the muscles and tendons. Can be trimmed to the desired shape.
Recommended Range Of Application
Mild arthritis in the first CMC-joint. Protects the CMC-join and the first MPC-joint.
After trauma, in case of hyper mobile thumb and wrist, after arthroplasty surgery.
